The new Zero Runner ZR7000 replicates real walking, jogging and running motion but without any repetitive stressful impact to the body. A true, non-impact alternative to a treadmill, the Zero Runner uses independent hip and knee joints to mimic human biomechanics without a fixed stride, so exercisers can walk with a shorter stride or run with strides up to 58″. The ZR7000 delivers all the benefits of a treadmill…but better. The ZR7000 combines the best of a treadmill and an elliptical for standout workouts that replicate real running.

Zero Runner v. Treadmill

The video shows how the stride on the Zero Runner matches the stride of the exerciser on the treadmill. The one critical difference is that the exerciser on the Zero Runner is not subject to stressful, repetitive impact.

Plus, running on a treadmill with a moving belt doesn’t match running outdoors, as exercisers do not sufficiently engage their hamstrings and glutes, and their form changes to accommodate the belt.
